Three Guildford Juniors represent England!
Ronit Sachdeva played on board 3/5 in the Glorney Cup (U18) and was England’s top scorer with 4½ out of 6 with an impressive performance rating of 1881. England secured second place behind a strong team from Scotland.
Zac Welling played on board 5/6 in the Robinson Cup (U14) and was again England’s top scorer with 5 out of 6 and a performance rating of 1648. England, who were undefeated, pipped Scotland to the title.
Adam Sefton played on board 4/6 in the Stokes Cup (U12) scoring 6/6 (along with three of his team mates) and achieving a very impressive performance rating of 2003. England totally dominated this event, comfortably winning all of their matches.
The club is delighted to have three such talented players in our junior ranks and we know that they are an inspiration to the many other promising juniors at the club.
